FIRST FLOOR CONVERSION
This lovely first floor flat in the Victorian terrace on Battersea Park Road is full of traditional features combined with some interesting design to maximise space and utility.
The open plan kitchen and Living room concept was much needed to keep the flow of light from the front of the building to the rear. The kitchen design using darker units in a Shaker style compliments the traditional feel of the flat along with Exposed Brickwork. The skirting and coving design were chosen as the flat benefited from tall ceilings.
The double Bedroom is a very good size with a bright feel and sound reducing double glazed windows.
The Bathroom was designed with a large shower space of 1m2. We chose a matt porcelain tile in Marble effect with black tiles. The black finishes on the taps and shower screens contrasted well with the light colour walls and copper finishes of the towel radiator. The radiator was made bespoke for the space. We also managed to use the under stair space for additional storage and for location of the washing machine.
We chose a darker wood flooring and French grey painted walls for classic finish, which ties in the traditional feel of the apartment.
